These instructions are for copying Color WMF files from an RT Collection CD on to your hard drive in Windows 3.1
Modify these instructions as necessary for other file formats or to save to a different hard drive.
1. Insert the RT CD-ROM into the drive.
2. Go to the File Manager (from the Program Manager Main window, double click the File Manager icon).
3. Click on the CD-ROM drive button.
4. On the left side of the window, click the windows directory.
5. On the right hand side of the window, click once on the wmf_colr directory.
6. From the File menu, select Copy.
7. At the Copy dialog box, in the To: field type: C:\. Click OK.
8. Once the files have been copied, click on the C: drive button.
9. Scroll down the left hand side and find the new wmf_colr directory.
10. Highlight the wmf_colr directory (click on it once).
11. From the File menu, click Rename.
12. At the Rename dialog box, in the To: field, type the RT clip art Collection name (ex.-WILDWEST). Click OK.
When you want to use an image now, when you go to import or insert an image, go to the C:\collection name directory to find the RT clip art (ex.- C:\wildwest, or C:\santa_fe).
