

If you have a VERSION D CD (newer) then use the instructions that came with the CD.
The instructions below are for installing the TrueType version of a font into your system from any RT Collection CD previous to Version D Collections (if your CD does not have a version, then it is older than Version D)
1. Insert the RT Collection CD in the drive.
2. Go to START > SETTINGS >CONTROL PANEL
3. Open (double click) the FONTS folder
4. At the FONTS window, Go to the FILE menu, select INSTALL NEW FONT
(if the INSTALL NEW FONT menu item does not appear, click here)
5. At the ADD FONTS window, change your drive to the CD (bottom right of window)
6. At the bottom left of the ADD FONTS window, double click the WINDOWS folder
7. At the bottom left of the ADD FONTS window, scroll down, and double click the FONTS folder
8. At the top of the ADD FONTS window, one or more fonts are listed
9. Click the SELECT ALL BUTTON to highlight the font(s)
10. Click OK. When finished, you are back at the FONTS window.
11. Close all windows. The fonts are installed and can be selected and used like any font.
It is normally not necessary to restart your machine in order for the fonts to become available in your program(s).
1. Insert the CD in the drive.
2. From the Program Manager Main window, open (double-click) the Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Fonts icon. Then click Add.
4. In the Add Fonts menu, select the CD ROM drive. Then go to the WINDOWS\FONTS directory.
5. In the List of Fonts, select (highlight) the font(s) to install.
6. Click OK.
Once the font is installed, close the Fonts window and the Control Panel.
Windows 3.x must be restarted before the new font is available for use in your programs.
Choose Exit from the Program Manager File menu. A window will appear indicating that you will be exiting the Windows session. Click OK. Once in DOS, type WIN to restart Windows.
Installing Fonts from RT Collection CD's a two-step process:
First, you must extract the font files from the self-extracting archive.
Second, you must drag the appropriate font file(s) onto the System folder on your hard drive.Extract the Font Files:
1. Insert the RT Collection CD in the drive.
2. On your Desktop, double click the RT Cd icon
3. Find, then double click the MAC folder
3. Find, then double click the FONTS folder
4. In the FONTS folder, double click the .SEA file (for example, SFCFONTS.SEA)
If you receive a message something like:
"Can't extract file "xxxxx" because there is not enough memory", click here.5. At the "SELECT DESTINATION FOLDER" window, click the DESKTOP button
6. Click the EXTRACT button
7. When finished, a new FONTS folder (for example, SFCFONTS) will appear on your Desktop
8. Close all windows.
Drag the appropriate font file(s) onto the System folder on your hard drive:
1. Double click your hard drive icon (usually called "Macintosh HD") at the top right of your screen
2. Double click the XXXFONTS folder that was just created on your Desktop
In the XXXFONTS window, you will see the individual font files
4. Click and drag ONLY the files which end with ".suit" onto your SYSTEM FOLDER
5. A message will appear saying that the fonts will be stored in the System file correct for fonts
6. Click OK
7. Close all windows. The fonts are installed and can be selected and used like any font.
