

If the RT clip art files are stored on a different drive, or in a different folder than we specify here, modify these instructions as necessary.
1. Create a new document or open an existing document.
2. From the Tools menu select Drawing. A frame will appear in your document.
3. From the File menu select Import Drawing.
4. At the Import Drawing dialog box select Windows metafile under the Format box.
Switch drives to your CD ROM.
- Double click the Windows directory on the CD.
- Double click the directory containing the file format you wish to use.
- Double click the subdirectory containing the file category you wish to use.
5. Double click the file you want (i.e., 01TOAD.WMF). The image preview may be distorted here, but will not be when the image comes into your document.
If the file is not showing check:
- Are you in the correct directory/folder?
- Is Format set to Windows Metafile?
Scaling Objects
Select the image you want to scale. Handles will appear around the image.Choose Graphics Scaling from the Frame menu. The Graphics Scaling function allows you to resize the image only, not the frame.
Cropping Objects
Double clicking the image changes your cursor to a hand. Use this hand to move the image within the frame to crop as needed. Deselect the image (click elsewhere on the page), then reselect with a single click to modify the frame size.Recoloring Objects
To edit the image double click in the center of it. This will bring up the Drawing tool palette. Select a piece of the image and use the Fill Pattern tool to add/change the image color.Rotating Objects
Select the image you want to rotate. Handles will appear around the image. Double click the image and choose Select All from the Draw menu.Choose Rotate from the Draw menu.
Flipping Objects
Select the image you want to flip. Handles will appear around the image. Double click the image and choose Select All from the Draw menu.Choose Flip from the Draw menu
